Dr. K. S. Narayan Reddy is Professor of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, School of Life Sciences, Government Arts College, Bangalore. He is past President, Indian Society of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology and Honorary Secretary, Indian Society of Forensic Sciences. He has been awarded the degree of doctor of philosophy in medicine by the international university of contemporary studies, washington, d.c. U.S.A. He is also a member of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences, U.S.A. and Fellow of the National Academy of Gifted Arts and Sciences. He is a Past President, Karnataka branch of the Association of Physician Forensic Scientists, U.S.A. He has published more than fifty papers in medical journals and has more than fifteen books to his credit. He has been awarded the Karnataka government’s proud award for serving the public, the Y. B. Chavan memorial award, and has been conferred with the honor of the Best Teacher Award for 1992, 1993 and 1994.
